The Founder of TruValu Consulting, Dr. Kia R. McCray, DSW, LSW is an accomplished licensed Social Worker, Researcher, and Author, with degrees from Rutgers University School of Arts (Bachelors in Psychology) and Rutgers School of Social Work (Masters in Social Work). In addition, she has recently received a doctoral degree from Capella University (Doctor of Social Work), with a published Dissertation on Stress Management within the Social Work Profession.
With over 15 years of experience in quality assurance/improvement and non-profit/public management, Dr. McCray has the abilities to produce valuable solutions that are creative and innovative. Dr. McCray has many areas of expertise that enables her to complete data collection/analysis, grant research/writing, personal/professional development, and strategic planning/management. Dr. McCray has played a significant part in helping clients build and start their own non-profits and businesses, due to her detail-oriented skills and research abilities. Lastly, Dr. McCray has provided quality improvement services to non-profits that helped create effective organizational management and enable capacity building for all levels of staff.
